Tamara Jean Bingham 1948~2018

Mrs. Tamara Jean Bingham (née Diamond) passed away peacefully in Oklahoma City on March 22 in Oklahoma City at the age of 70. Tamara is survived by her husband of 50 years, Raymond of Del City, her son Jeremy Bingham, daughter -in- law Amber Bingham, grandson Dresdyn Bingham of Princeton, Texas, her brother Randall of Austin, Texas, and her step-mother Charlene Diamond, of Watonga, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her mother Betty Rowe, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, her father Leland Diamond, of Watonga, Oklahoma. Tamara was born on February 26, 1948 in Watonga, Oklahoma to Leland and Betty Diamond (née Glaesman). She graduated from Watonga High School in 1964, and attended Graceland College. She married Raymond, who had served in Vietnam in the Navy. After returning to Oklahoma, Tamara enlisted in the Air Force, and later worked in the medical records department for the 507th Squadron before retiring in 2008. Tamara dedicated her life to serving the Lord and was a daily example of Christ's love and compassion as she participated in numerous mission trips and worked tirelessly to serve her community through her food bank and other ministries. A celebration of her life is will be at Midwest City Free Methodist Church on March 28. Pastor Jeremy Smith will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tamara’s life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to her church; however, her family would prefer for donations be made to the City Rescue Mission Charity of Oklahoma City.
