Funeral Services for Larry Black, 78, Watonga resident will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Event Center in Watonga, OK, officiated by Rev. Gerald Panana and Rev. Pat Gonzales. Burial will conclude in the Cantonment Cemetery near Canton, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Traditional All Night Wake Service was held in the Event Center Thursday, January 28, 2016. Larry Dean Black along with a twin sister was born October 21, 1937 to Dana and Mae (Dubrae) Black in Fonda, Oklahoma and passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 in his Watonga Home. He was given the Indian Name of Mah-hi-vist “Red Bird” and also “Red Plume”. He was raised in the Fonda Community where he attended the Pumpkin Ridge School and then graduated from Seiling High School. He continued his education at Texas A&M where he received his Master’s Certificate in Welding. He married Roberta Bear in 1957 in Watonga. They made their home in Watonga, but he traveled over Oklahoma and Texas doing welding work. He  worked for himself as well as the oil fields and for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma. He also worked with local farmers for many years. He was a proud member of the Cheyenne Tribe and was a Headsman and Sun Dance Priest for many years. He was a member of the Episcopal Church; he enjoyed playing and coaching sports especially baseball and football. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Roberta in 2007, a brother, Marvin Black, Jr; four sisters, Elisabeth “Lizzie” Bull, Alice Littleman, Mary Little Coyote, Norma Buffalo Meat; son, Larry Black Jr., two daughters, Rita Shakespeare, Mary White Hat; granddaughter, Minnie White Hat and grandson, Stan Wes Shakespeare. He is survived by two daughters, Norma Black, and Kim Black and Kerwin Little Thunder and a son, Cecil Black and his wife, Cynthia, all of Watonga; two sisters, his twin, Rita Black, Seiling and Norma Smith, Fonda; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his adopted sons, Shawn Spotted Wolfe, R.G. Harris, Norman New Rider, Robert Little Bird, Henry Little Bird and Charles Yellow Eyes and many other that he mentored; two adopted brothers, Roy Dean Bull Coming, Fonda and Lawrence Birds head, Carlton, OK.

Marilyn Evalyn Owings

Marilyn Evalyn Owings was born January 13, 1936 to Wendell Waynne and Alice Mildred (Newer) Phillips in Geary, OK. She passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at her home in Geary at the age of 80. Marilyn graduated from Geary High School and attended Oklahoma A&M University in Stillwater. She was united in marriage to Arthur A. Owings August 18, 1954 in Pampa, TX. She worked at the Geary Public Schools for 45 years working as Secretary and Activity Bus Driver, being honored at her retirement by the school for her years of service. She also enjoyed helping on the farm getting involved from driving the tractor and swathing hay to driving the wheat truck. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and all their activities, flowers, gardening, and crocheting, and as Arthur Allen called Marilyn being a “Professional Grandma.” Marilyn was a member of the First Christian Church for many years. Survivors include, her husband Arthur A. and Oreo both of the home, Geary; two children, Jiri Lusk and her husband Kenny of Hinton, and Phillip Owings and his wife Tiffany of Geary; nine grandchildren, Rob Seyler, Erik Winegeart and his wife Jessica, Tyler Winegeart and his fiancé Gabby, Taylor Brooks and her husband Jared, Gage, Logan, Baylor, Brady, and Hudson Owings; seven great-grandchildren, Trenton and Tayce, Madison and Kierstyn, Lila and Emma, and Michelle; niece, Deborah Mathews and her husband Mike and their family of Geary; and one brother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Waynne and Mildred Philips; daughter and son-in-law, Shari and Bobby Opitz; grandson, Micah Seyler, and one brother, Ronald Phillips. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, c/o cancer research. Regina Marie Curtis

REGINA MARIE CURTIS, of Oklahoma City, daughter of Gilbert Curtis, Sr. and Inez (White Buffalo) Curtis, was born on December 8, 1983 in Clinton, OK. She was tragically taken from this life early in June of 2000. After a heartbreaking struggle to find her for 16 years, the family will finally be able to lay her to rest. She grew up mostly in the Clinton area, and attended Ardmore, El Reno, and finally Oklahoma City Schools. Regina was a freshman in high school at the time of her disappearance. In her spare time Regina enjoyed listening to music, hanging out with her friends and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved to entertain, and nothing made her happier than getting other people to smile or laugh. Regina was preceded in death by her mother Inez Curtis; grandparents John and Phoebe White Buffalo, and grandmother Lena Belle Tenorio. Survivors include Regina’s father, Gilbert Curtis, Sr. of Clinton; grandmother Belva Hicks; seven brothers and sisters; Cameron Curtis of Clinton, Virgil Curtis of Weatherford, Monica Curtis, Andrea Curtis, Augustine Curtis, Eric Curtis, and Gilbert Curtis, Jr. all of Clinton; several aunts and uncles, especially LaFreda White Buffalo who she called “Big Momma” as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. A traditional all night wake was held on Friday, February 12, 2016 in the C-1 Community Building, 411 N. Main, Seiling, OK. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, February 13, 2016, also at the C-1 Community Building with Pastors Gerald Panana and George Akeen, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Cantonment Cemetery in Canton, OK. The Curtis Family have entrusted Regina’s care, services, and burial to director Luke Faires and the caring staff of Redinger Funeral Home.

RUBY ELENE WHEELER

Ruby Elene Wheeler was born in Lookout, Oklahoma on February 23, 1927 to Chris and Nora Knabe and passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the age of 88. A resident of the Watonga and Hitchcock communities most of her life, she attended school in Freedom, Oklahoma. She married Bluford Wheeler on September 24, 1942 in Buffalo, Oklahoma. She was proceeded in death by her parents and one son, Doug Wheeler. Ruby is survived by three sons: Rich, Albert and B.J. Wheeler, four daughters: Frances Phelps, Gladys Cook, Ruby Cassidy and Tina Baker, seventeen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. No services are scheduled for Ruby Wheeler. Wilkinson Mortuary is in charge of the cremation services.

Grace Joy Crawford Strack 1926~2016

Grace Joy Crawford Strack was born February 06, 1926 in Greenfield, Okla to Fleet and Josephine Crawford and passed away February 17, 2016 at the age of 90. She was a resident of Greenfield and Watonga communities her entire life, where she worked at Safeway Grocery for 18 years and spent many years as a homemaker. She graduated from Greenfield High School and was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Watonga. On January 29, 1961, she married Kenneth L. Strack in Watonga, Okla. Born with an adventurous spirit, Grace loved to travel, and visited nearly every state and Canada with family, friends and travel groups. She spent hours in her garden and you could find her mowing her lawn every summer, as she took great pride in her produce and flowers. Throughout her life, you would see her about town in a Ford or Mercury car, keeping to her daily routines of paying bills, grocery shopping, and going to visit friends or family. She was particularly fond of the time spent with her cousin Joy, enjoying a cup of coffee. Her grandchildren were a central part of her life, and you would spot her at every single sporting event, livestock show or school activity, cheering from the crowd with immense pride. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Fleet Crawford and Josephine Nitzel, and step-father Cecil Nitzel, infant daughter Emma, sister Alice Scheurer and husband, George, brother Bill Crawford and wife Joyce, sisters-in-law, Sharon Strack and Jean Strack, and brothers-in-law, Bill Strack and Donald Strack. She is survived by husband, Kenneth of the home in Watonga, daughter, Valerie Davis and husband Rich of Watonga, grandchildren, Cory Davis and wife Denise, of Tulsa and Molly Grace Davis of Hitchcock, as well as, numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Grace were held, Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Watonga, with Pastor Dave Kaiser officiating. Burial followed at the IOOF Cemetery at Watonga, with Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society or Watonga Senior Citizen’s Center.

Bennie Louis Grishow 1926-2016

Bennie “Ben” Louis Grishow was born July 10, 1926 at Gallup, New Mexico and passed away February 8, 2016 at the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 89 and a half. Ben was a resident of the Greenfield /Watonga communities for 70 plus years. He attended school in Colorado and Oklahoma, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the VFW, the American Legion and the Thoroughbred Horse Association. Ben was a farmer, and raised thoroughbred horses. He loved to fish, hunt quail, pheasant and train his bird dog. He loved to race his horses and raise his colts. Ben like music and loved to dance as well as spend time with family and friends; enjoying his family “get togethers”. n 1944 he was drafted in the United States Army, serving overseas in the Company F 114th Infantry. He fought in the European Theater, never talking much about his experience only stating that it was “bad”. On September 16, 1948 he married Delma Sue Chapman at Wichita Falls, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers-in-law. He is survived by his wife Sue of the home in Watonga; one daughter, Deborah Sue Jirik and husband Johnny of Cashion, OK; one sister, Natheline Ray of California; two granddaughters, Shannon Marie Cooksey and husband Kenny of Moore, OK and April Dawn Smith and husband Mark of Marshall, OK; two step grandchildren, Jennifer Dawn Bass and husband Jacob of Okc, OK and Justin Scott Jirik and wife Leah of Wichita, KS and great-grandchildren Madison Marie, Brooklyn Michelle, Mitchell Louis, Abigail Sweet Suttle, Ethan Cooksey, Taylor Gracy- Dawn Smith, Wyatt Cole, and Maggie Zoe Bass. As well as numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Ben were held Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Greenfield, Oklahoma with Rev. Dwight McGee officiating. Halden “Hod” George Tolbert 1915~2016

Halden George Tolbert, known as “Hod”, was born on a farm Southeast of Watonga, Oklahoma on January 22, 1915, to William “Billy” and Maude Tolbert. Billy and Maude had a daughter who died before Hod was born, and a son who died as a result of a horse accident when Hod was five years old. Billy and Maude moved with their sole surviving child, Hod, to town and ran a produce store from the building located at the corner of Prouty and “A” Street. Hod was raised on the second story of the produce building. He worked in the produce store and cleaned chickens and tanned hides in the alley behind the store. He learned early the ethic of hard work and frugality. After graduating from high school, Hod studied for a short time at both Southwestern State College and Oklahoma University, and finally ended with attending Cumberland University Law School in Tennessee. He worked for Theodor Graalman, a lawyer practicing in Watonga who also owned an abstract company, and it was there that Hod found his passion. He loved practicing law and helping people with their problems through his law practice. During his life, Hod held many positions, all involved with the practice of law. He served in the military intelligence during WWII, was elected County Attorney for Blaine County, and served two terms in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. In 1957, he purchased the abstract company from Theo Graalman, and remained in private practice for the rest of his life. For most of his life, he was a member of the Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge, and the American Legion. He leaves surviving him, his wife, Leona, of the home, 2 daughters, Veva Daugherty of Watonga, and Susan Tolbert of New Braunfels, Texas, a son, Hal Tolbert of Santa Rosa, California, a step-son, Lanny Pierce of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and a step-daughter, Lynne Babbit, of El Reno, Oklahoma, 6 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Hod could frequently be heard to say, “If I had a 1,000 lives to live, I would live each one of them as a country lawyer”.

Bill Bush Butler 1931~2016

Funeral service for Bill Bush Butler, 84 year-old Weatherford resident, will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home. Bill was born on November 25, 1931 to Sam and Esther Butler in Omega, Oklahoma and passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He was raised on the family farm west of Omega, Oklahoma and attended Omega Public Schools, graduating Omega High School in 1949. He operated a service station in Watonga until 1958. In 1958 he joined the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, proudly serving for 26 years, before retiring in 1984. He worked as a patrolman in Guymon, Clinton, and Weatherford and finally as a lake patrol for many years in Western Oklahoma. He also worked for 10 years in the security business. Bill enjoyed being on the lake fishing, fish frys, playing dominoes and cards, and spending time with family and friends. Memorials may be made to the Retired Oklahoma Highway Patrol Association. Bill is survived by his wife Vera Butler of the home in Weatherford; two sons, Jerry Butler of Weatherford, and Dylan Butler and his wife Mikaela Ifrim of Oman; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Diane and Charlotte; one son, Mitch; and a great-granddaughter, Stephanie.

C.J. BENWAY 1925~2016

C.J. Benway was born December 27, 1925 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Cecil J. Benway Sr. and Vivian Benway Custer and passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the age of 90. C.J. moved to the Watonga community at the age of 12 in 1938, attending Watonga Schools. In December of 1943 during Christmas break of his senior year of High School, C.J. joined the United States Marine Corp at the age of 17. He fought in Guam and Iwo Jima, and was discharged in 1946. C.J. returned to Watonga and married Margaret Compton at Waldron, Kansas on March 31, 1946. To this union two children were born; Mike and Kathy. C.J. started farming in Watonga raising cattle, as well as helping his mother Vivian run the City Café. In 1956 he started his freshman year at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, majoring in chemistry, math and biology. C.J. commuted for three years, receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1959. He taught at the Oklahoma College for Women at Chickasha, Oklahoma and in 1960 was hired at the Watonga State Bank by L.J. Barrett. In 1980 C.J. partnered with Basil Taylor purchasing the First State Bank of Watonga, retiring in 1995. After his retirement C.J. and Margaret enjoyed travelling in the R.V. and taking golf trips with his friends, but most of all he enjoyed his many travels attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, as well as getting the chance to attend his great grandchildren’s activities. C.J. is preceded in death by: His parents; Cecil and Vivian; step-father, Art Custer; wife Margaret; one daughter, Kathy Scoville; and one step-brother, Terry Custer. He is survived by: One son, Mike Benway and wife Teresa of Enid, Oklahoma. One son-in-law, Terry Scoville of Edmond, Oklahoma. Six grandchildren: Jay Benway of Altus, Oklahoma, Todd Benway and wife Heidi of Derby, Kansas, Clint Benway of Seagoville, Texas, Mika Stansberry and husband Brian of Midlothian, Texas, Koby Scoville and wife Mendy of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Kevin Scoville and wife Natalie of Edmond, Oklahoma. 14 great grandchildren: Chandler Benway, Tatum Benway, Jayden Benway, Dax Benway, Jordan Benway, Spencer Benway, Tucker Benway, Emma Stansberry, Lillie Stansberry, Claire Stansberry, Kyler Scoville, Kellen Scoville, Ella Scoville and Ethan Scoville In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Watonga. Funeral services for C.J. were held Monday, February 29, 2016, at the First Christian Church in Watonga, with burial following at the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Watonga, with Rev. Doyle Warren officiating. Johnny Lee Kammerzell

Johnny Lee Kammerzell passed away on Feb. 28,201 6 at his home Hitchcock, OK. He was born on Dec. 30, 1948 to Betty Jean and John Henry Kammerzell in Enid, OK. Johnny did numerous jobs and worked as a mechanic on farm equipment. Johnny will be truly missed by many who came in contact with him. Marvin "Marv" Gene Pearson

Marvin "Marv" Gene Pearson, age 83, died February 29, 2016 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, KS. He was born June 29, 1932 in Watonga, OK the son of V.Y. and Edna (Harverson) Pearson. He graduated from Oakridge High School, Watonga, OK in 1950. He had been a resident of Liberal since 1960. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 - 1955. He worked at Nash-finch Foods as a mechanic, retiring in 1999. He worked at Mid-States Diesel as a mechanic from 1999 - 2004. He was member of the Elks Lodge for 30 years. Survivors include: 3 Sons, Roger Pearson and wife Janice Liberal, KS, Gene Pearson and wife Julie Broomfield, CO, Mark Pearson CA. 4 Brothers: Delbert Pearson and wife Nadine Watonga, OK, Merlin Pearson and wife Ginger Oklahoma City, OK, Forrest Keith Pearson and wife Judy Tulsa, OK, Lindell Pearson and wife Sandra Watonga, OK, 1 Sister, Maxine Strack and husband Frank Watonga, OK. 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Larry Edwin Ake

Larry Edwin Ake was born January 22, 1948 in Fairview, Oklahoma during the biggest snow storm of the winter to Ernest Alfred Ake and Ethel Evelyn Jenkins Ake. He attended grade school in Seiling and high school in Fairview. Larry worked for Richard Price finishing concrete in Watonga where he met and married Becky Blehm on April 8, 1966. They moved with a telephone construction company for five years. It was during that time that their daughter, Pam, was born. They moved back to the farm west of Hitchcock where Becky was raised by her grandmother, Mary Blehm. Larry went to work as a welder for MaBar, Inc. in Fairview for eleven years before he and Becky started a business in Watonga for themselves. He built LaBec Welding and Supply into a business that stretched from Oklahoma City to Elk City and I-40 to Kansas. The farthest away any of Larry’s work ever got was with David Adkisson to Georgia Russia. They sold the business and went home to the farm where Larry passed away on March 5, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Becky of the home; his daughter, Pam Billings and husband, Jonathan of Oklahoma City; a grandson, Levi Drake and his wife, Jessie and their daughter, Sawyer of Hennessey and granddaughter, Beca Drake of Oklahoma City. Larry was loved and will be sorely missed by family and friends. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Hitchcock United Methodist Church with James and Shirley Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery near Hitchcock. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Okeene. Maxine Gertrude Pierce Willis 1924~2016

Maxine Gertrude Pierce Willis, age 91 of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016. Maxine was born April 20, 1924 in Watonga, Oklahoma to William and Mary Warren Pierce. Born and raised in Watonga, she graduated from Watonga High School and the University of Oklahoma with a Masters in mathematics. She married J.C. Willis on May 5, 1946, right after he returned from WWII. They lived in Lafayette, LA and Houston, TX, then later retired in Gainesville, FL. Maxine loved to garden and play bridge. She was preceded in death by her husband J.C. in 2003, sisters, Pearl Balenseifen and Nellie Hannafious, and brother, Jim Pierce. She is survived by her three children: Sandra Welgus and her spouse Howard Welgus of Ballwin, MO, Steven Willis and his spouse Vickey Willis of Gainesville, FL, and Teresa Ament of Owasso, OK; six grandchildren: Ruth McMillan of Ballwin, MO, David Welgus of Chicago, IL, Lee Ament of Broken Arrow, OK, Amber Ament of Owasso, OK, Scott Willis of Gainesville, FL, and Annie Willis of Gainesville, FL; and three great grandchildren: Max McMillan, Mitchell McMillan, and Grayson Ament. The family hosted a viewing at Wilkinson Mortuary in Watonga, OK on Monday, March 21, 2016. Following a service at the First United Methodist Church, Maxine was buried next to her husband J.C. in Watonga IOOF Cemetery on Tuesday, March 22, 2016.

Stacy Lynn Martin-Tollison December 26, 1962 March 8, 2016

Stacy is survived by her husband Paul E Tollison III, her mother Linda Powers Martin, her sister Terri Martin, and sister Donna Mahadeva. Other family members include nieces, nephews, and a brother-in-law. Stacy worked as a health care giver until she had a back injury, after which she became a homemaker and a care giver for her mother. Stacy had a bright personality, and could light up a room with an infectious smile and bright green eyes.The sweetness of her nature was always much noted by everyone who met her. Stacy would be extremely joyful if she was here in the flesh today because she loved company. With all of us here, Stacy is definitely here in spirit. All of us are comforted by her precious memory. A precious soul taken much too soon, and heaven must have needed her more. Let us all remember Stacy lovingly, and happily. Let us love each other and honor her memory by loving each other and spread kindness and gentleness in our every day lives.

Robert Addison 1993-2016

Robert “Robbie” Wayne Addison was born to Martha Addison on October 1, 1993 in Clinton, OK. He departed this life on March 15, 2016, in Oklahoma City, Okla. at the age of 22. After the passing of his mother, he was placed in the care of grandmother Mary Ann Addison, who raised him and his two sisters. Robbie was a resident of Watonga community where he attended school. He worked as roustabout for John Thompson Enterprises for a while, and was looking forward to continuing his education. He attended Assembly of God church in Watonga. Preceding him in death was his mother, grandmother and two brothers, Caleb Canaday and Timothy Canaday. Robbie is survived by his sisters Erin Addison of Irving Texas and Dale Sue Webster of Enid, Okla.; three brothers, Jeffery Canaday of Helena, Okla., Kenneth Canaday and Andrew Canaday both of Oklahoma City, Okla., aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at 11 a.m, Thursday, March 24, 2016, at C&A Multipurpose Center in Watonga, Okla. No wake service will be held. Officiating will be Rev. Doug Jackson and Rev. Geraldine Jenkins of Christ Gospel Church. Burial at IOOF Lodge Cemetery in Watonga, Okla.

De-Wane Earnest Schnell 1942~2016

De-Wane Earnest Schnell was born November 13, 1942, in Watonga, OK., and passed away March 16, 2016, in Wichita, Kansas. He was raised on the family farm 7 miles east and 2 miles south of Hitchcock, OK. He attended Hitchcock Elementary and graduated from Omega High School in 1961. He attended Diesel Mechanic School of Okmulgee, OK. In 1965, De-Wane took over the family farm where he raised wheat and ran a grade-A dairy. In 1974, he married Loretta June Blakley. They opened their home to foster children in 1981 and since that time has had over 300 children live with their family. In 1990, he retired from farming and began working for DonCo Trucking as a cross country driver, driving all lower 48 States and Canada. During his 18 years of over the road (driving, he received awards for driving over 3 million miles accident free. He then semi-retired and returned home, to Watonga, and began driving locally until 2012 when he fully retired. In July 2014, he moved to Wichita Kansas where he loved being with his Son, Daughter-in-Law, and 2 beautiful grandchildren. He felt one of his greatest accomplishments was raising his children and seeing them grow into adults he could be proud of. De-Wane is survived by wife Loretta June; two sons, David & wife Lori of Hitchcock and Jeff & wife Shannon of Wichita, Kansas; two daughters Sherri & husband John of Edmond and Myranda of Yukon; six grandchildren; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his Mother Losie Schnell and his father Ora Schnell. A Memorial service was held March 19 in Okeene at the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Colleen (Chain) Brown 1947~2016

Colleen (Chain) Brown was born March 17, 1947 to Geo. and Georgia Chain at Oakwood, OK. She went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on March 18, 2016. Colleen was married to David Brown on February 27, 1966. They made their home in the Oakwood community, where they raised two sons, Paul and Greg. Colleen is survived by her husband, David Brown of the home; son Paul Brown and wife Jennifer, two granddaughters, Taylor and Madison, of Edmond, OK; son Greg Brown and wife Michelle of New York City, NY; two brothers, Frank Chain and wife Velda and Orin Chain and wife Carol; sister Emily Stinson and husband Joe Don; and twin-sister Connie Roberts and husband Charles, all of Oakwood, OK. Colleen is preceded in death by her parents; brother G.O. Chain and wife Janis; a niece, Kristi, and nephew, Bradley. Graveside services were held Monday, March 21, 2016, at Evergreen Cemetery northwest of Oakwood, OK with Pastor Shane Sander officiating. Arrangements were by Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton. Colleen was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Her favorite bible verse to live by was John 15:5, “apart from God, I can do nothing”.
