Geneva Margarett Burton was born on June 14, 1925 to Guy and Nellie Burton of Fay, Oklahoma. She attended Bell School in Fay, Oklahoma. At an early age she dedicated her life at St. Peters Methodist Church. At a later date she became a member of the Seven Day Adventist in Argentine, KS. where she remained a member until she moved to Oklahoma and joined the Canton Seventh-Day Adventist Church until her death. She met and married Lorenza Starks where they made a home in Argentine, KS. To their union was born one child Erick Starks, both of whom preceded her in death. Her sister, Emma Hampton, preceded her in death as well. Geneva was the care taker for Mrs. Clarice Starks, her aunt, Mable Molett and Vera Overton. She is survived by Betty Byers (Pete deceased), Everest Burton (Mary deceased), Geraldine Jenkins (L.C. deceased), and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
