Coleta Ann (Morgan) Weidenmaier Stinson was born on February 23, 1935 near Mountain View, OK in the Starr community to DeWitte and Jessie (Feeser) Morgan. She departed this life on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Fairview, OK surrounded by her loving family. Coleta attended Starr Community School through 6th grade and graduated from Mountain View High School in 1952, where she played the cornet in the school band. She married Bill Weidenmaier on June 7, 1956 at Mountain View, OK, and later married Darrell Stinson on August 3, 1968 at Carnegie, OK. Coleta received her LPN license at Hobart, OK and worked for Dr. Tolbert as his clinic nurse in Mountain View. She also worked at Thomas Hospital, Watonga Nursing Home, Geary Nursing Home and finished her nursing career with Home Health. Her favorite job was taking care of her family. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. Coleta enjoyed sewing, yardwork, watching sporting events and reading the newspapers. She had lived at Mountain View, Carnegie, Fort Cobb, Fay and Ames, OK. Coleta was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Bill; an infant son, Emil DeWitte Weidenmaier; siblings Maybian Rhodes, Flossie Bales, Ima Nix, Ellen Kilday, Polly Newsom, Bud Morgan, Tyke Morgan, Jessie Mae Morgan and Sam Morgan; in-laws Emil and Loleet Weidenmaier, and John and Florence Stinson; She is survived by her husband Darrell Stinson of the home; daughters and son-in-laws Lindsay and Eddie Wilson of Tulsa, OK, Sandra and Allen Shafer of Houston, TX, Susan and Tim Sells of Wichita, KS and Debra and John Ott of Ames, OK; grandchildren Joby Wilson and wife Allison, Jenifer Darling, Stefanie Denton and husband Jerry, Alex Shafer and wife Megan, Dexter Shafer and wife Kayla, Addie Shafer, Jordan Sells, Tate Ott, Kelby Ott and Hadley Ott; great-grandchildren Alex Darling, Tabitha Darling, Morgan Denton, Bryleigh Shafer, Kaden Shafer and one on the way; sister-in-laws Mary Morgan, Mavis Hart and Regina Stinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Fay Auditorium with Minister David Beck and Minister Bill Crenshaw officiating.
