
Billie Dean Willis, Sr., 75 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away October 15, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born September 7, 1941 in Levelland, Texas, he was the son of Bill Willis and Mary Lucy (Harris) Willis. Billie was a man who had never met a stranger, he visited with one and all. Until he was 14 he stayed with his grandmother, Vinnie Hatcher in Ashdown, Arkansas and then moved to Oklahoma City, OK with his mother and step-father, A. G. Smith. He enjoyed hunting; fishing; dominoes; and animals, especially his pet dachshund “Oscar”. Most of all Billie enjoyed spending time with his family and the cooking that went on for all family events. He had done many parts of construction work over his life and had last been involved in asphalting parking lots, etc. On October 8, 1961 he married Donna V. Davis. Survivors include 2 sons, Billie Dean Willis, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Edmond, OK; and Michol Kevin Willis of Choctaw, OK; 2 daughters, Elsie Nicole Winston of Midwest City, OK; and Kerrie Georgina Willis and her husband Darren of Oklahoma City, OK; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, A. G. Smith, III of Oklahoma City, OK; 3 sisters, Kaffiea Harlan of Oklahoma City, OK; Caroly Ann Smith of Del City, OK;and Rounney Dean Smith of Dallas, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at a later time.
