John Morgan Hunter was born August 8, 1941 in Marianna, Arkansas to Frank and Vera Hunter and passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at age of 76. John was a resident of Kingfisher, Oklahoma for the last seven years where he was retired from the Low Voltage Security Industry. He attended Central High School in Helena, Arkansas. He married Bonnie Louise Potee in Memphis, Tennessee on November 1972. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie, his daughter; Charlotte Lea Sawyer, and his sons; Shawn Hunter and Bob McDonald. He is survived by: One son: Lance Hunter and wife Jill of Albuquerque, NM; Two daughters: Cindy Rice and husband Leslie of Watonga, OK: Linda Burpo and husband Tim of Watonga, OK , 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Memorial services for John Hunter were held Monday, November 6. at the graveside at I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Pastor Kason Oakes officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
